Dear Reader
I thank you for an interesting photograph of a bridge. I have a feeling this bridge appeared in your paper many editions ago. It had been badly graffitied! It now requires urgent repairs.
I wonder if I am correct in thinking this was the bridge I ran cross countries over in the early sixties. The Roundhill High School course involved us running out of the games field heading towards the canal/river, turning right to maybe this bridge amid many said hills, running down the canal towpath to a weir and bridge near Canal Street Thurmaston and then returning to the sports field.
I wonder if someone would be kind enough to either confirm the above or correct me.
