Syston Social Club Spring Fayre

On 2nd April, a Spring Fayre was held at Syston & District Social Club to help raise funds for Wreake Valley Student Erin Bradshaw who, in February 2023, will be taking part in a community trip to Morocco as part of Wreake Valley 6th form, she is grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend.
As part of the trip the students are being encouraged to fund raise towards the cost of the trip, which is £2,000 per person. 
The event held at the Syston Social Club made a great start with £239.30 being raised towards the trip.
Erin wants to thank everyone who supported, who bought raffle tickets, had a go on the chocolate tombola or Easter Treasure Hunt and the stallholders who provided raffle prizes too, and special thanks to the Club for letting her use their venue for the day.
Erin and her family will be arranging other events including a Quiz Night at the Social Club at the end of May, and she will be taking part in school-lead fundraising too.
