BBC Radio Leicester Make a Difference Awards
We at Stn, had the great privilege to be invited to the BBC Radio Leicester Make a difference awards on Sunday 3rd September.
What an inspirational event, we met some familiar faces and voices from Radio Leicester. We shared our table with Tim Parker, from Radio Leicester, the High Sheriff of Leicestershire for 2023 – 2024 Mrs Henrietta Chubb JP, accompanied by her husband. Plus the two PCSOs who won the Bravery award along with their wives.
It was a very special night with Gazelle performing and all eight category finalists present including our very own Charlotte Ryan who founded the Waste Not Leicestershire Reduce, Re-use, Recycle who was nominated for the second year running in the Green Award category.
SKB’s Topper was in pride of place on reception so that everyone attending could get up close and people were taking selfies with it!
After the event, we were able to get the photograph shown above and below of Ady and Jo with the topper before it was returned to the studio to take pride of place there!
