Macmillan Coffee Morning
Many thanks to everyone who supported us, it was a lovely sunny morning with lots of coffee/ tea, cake and laughter!
The raffle went well and included donations from local businesses, Gamble & Hollis, Kyle Hubbard, Syston Card Shop, Hair by Amy and Persian Kitchen, all prizes were claimed.
The doll’s name was Milly and she was won by Betty, we also had a great selection on the cake stall baked for us by Ann Thurman.
Another £50 was added to the total by Dave Brown because Pharmacie Arms Dave completed a ‘dare’ to ride ‘The Cage’ while they were on a day out, captured on video!! Thank you to you both!!
Our local MP Edward Agar popped in for a coffee and stayed to chat for a while, it was good to see him.
Finally a HUGE THANK YOU to all our volunteers we couldn’t do it without you.
We raised £1,400 which is a great result.
