Happy Birthday, Junior Parkrun
Watermead Country Park junior parkrun has now been running for one year.
At the time of going to print, the junior parkrun celebrated being one year old – slightly delayed after a cancelled event on 5th November due to flooding.
Junior parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for children aged 4 to 14 year olds.
It is held every Sunday at 9.00am at Watermead Country Park, Wanlip Road, Syston, Leicestershire, LE7 1PD.
It’s free to join but please register before you first come along. Or why not volunteer?
The aim is to have fun so everyone is welcome, whatever your pace! Join the fun on Sunday mornings at 9am, simply register for a barcode at www.parkrun.org.uk/register
