About the event and future events
We are proud to have launched our Leicestershire Branch with a Halloween Party at East Goscote Village Hall and were able to reach families who benefited from our support which otherwise they would not have received.
The event was a success and it was lovely to see all the parents and children engage in all the activities and entertainment. It was a relaxed environment which made the parents feel comfortable and there were happy faces all around.
We are pleased to have been able to provide an environment for families which was inclusive and non-judgemental. It was wonderful to receive positive feedback from the parents with one parent messaging “The children had such a fantastic time and they loved the activities and special guest. The ladies and gentlemen that ran it and set it up are fantastic and very welcoming”.
Subsequently we have had a trip to the National Space Centre which was another amazing day and enjoyed by all. We are due to hold our next event which will be our Christmas Party on 16th December 2023 at the Queniborough Village Hall. Going forward we are looking to hold regular activities such a Friday Night Fun Clubs twice a month, monthly swimming sessions and coffee mornings.
Any family with a child who has an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition is welcome to our events but they do need to be members of Little Miracles to attend.

We would also encourage families to join our closed Facebook Group ‘Little Miracles – Leicestershire’ where they can get all the information about our upcoming events and support and advice from the branch Leads and the wider Little Miracles Community.
Who we are and what we do?
Little Miracles is a multi-award winning charity that supports families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
We provide a non-judgemental environment where we use our holistic approach to support the needs of the whole family.
We specialise in providing advice, guidance, support, activities, training and safe places to any family that has a child with an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition.
This includes providing support before they are diagnosed.
Too many families in the UK live every day with feelings of isolation, exclusion, judgement, stress and anxiety because the world around us is not set-up to help their children live life to their full potential.
Little Miracles exists to help everybody experience the joy that comes with a family. A place of friendship, understanding and safety where happy memories are made.
Every child needs a place to play, laugh and create friendships. At Little Miracles we provide this environment for children whilst families can access the advice, support and care everyone deserves.
Without Little Miracles thousands of families with children who have additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions would feel more isolated, excluded and scared.
Parents often refer to Little Miracles as a ‘lifeline’, a place where they can access the support they need, when they need it. The childcare team plan and deliver inclusive, accessible activities for the whole family to enjoy in an environment where nobody is judged, and where everyone is welcome and genuinely happy to support each other.
Our Branches
Little Miracles has 15 branches across the east of England each offering a unique mix of services and activities throughout the year for families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions. Our services are planned according to the needs of the families that use them.
Our newest branch opened in Leicestershire on 28th October 2023 with a Halloween theme launch party, as shown above left. You do need to be a member of Little Miracles and be part of a family with a child who has additional needs, disabilities or life-limiting conditions to attend.

As a charity Little Miracles relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and would not exist without the generosity of our supporters. You can find more information about fundraising and supporting Little Miracles on our website.
Our goal is to become a national charity and ensure that every family with a child who has an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition can access the support that they need, when they need it, regardless of where they live.
