Put the Fun in Run.. Because Thrussington Fun Run Is Back!!

Saturday 2nd March from 2pm.
In aid of Thrussington Primary School and Thrussington Church Tower Fund.

The Fun Run is an exciting local cross country course with water crossings and haybale jumps. Set over five races and open to all age groups from 2 years, including family and school teams. Our thanks go to the Rudkin Family for kindly allowing use of the field.
Race 1 – 2pm- pre-school – School year 2
Race 2 -2.20pm – school year 3 and 4
Race 3 – 3pm – school year 5 and 6
Race 4 – 3.20pm – school year 7 to 17 years of age
Race 5 – 3.40pm – Adults and VET 50+
Children school year 6 and under run one lap of the ¾ of a mile course. School year 7 up to adults run two laps of the ¾ miles course (1 ½ miles).
Who can enter? Anyone! If you’re new to running or an old hand; very young or very old; give it a go and join the fun as an individual or enter your family as a team or round up friends from school and go for the school team trophy.
Don’t be fooled serious runners this is not too easy for you, it’s very fast and furious, but it’s great fun. £10 cash prize in race 4 and 5 for the fastest runner who beats the course record … Now there’s a challenge…
Medal and post race treats once you’ve finished and a welcome brew, pasties and cakes at the village hall.
