Friends of Barkby Road Cemetery
Hello everyone. Wild March is here bringing with it blustery winds and the ever present rain. Also, it brings the lovely Cherry Blossoms and Spring flowers.
The Chapel displays this month will include St David’s Day – Mother’s Day – St Patrick’s Day and Easter, so it will be a busy month for me setting up the different displays, enjoy your celebrations. The picture above is of the Valentine’s Day display.
The Friends of Syston Cemetery have been busy and now most of the dead flowers and Christmas Wreaths have been removed. Thank you those who have helped with this.
I know I say this every month but remember the Chapel is available to hire and if you would like to plant a Standard Rose bush along the gravel runway or adopt the fountain then please contact Catherine Voyce at Syston Town Council on 0116 260 7150.
