The Food Warehouse Store to Open in Syston, Leicester
Iceland Foods has announced it will be opening the doors to a brand-new The Food Warehouse store in Syston, Leicester this May, expanding its product offering and giving local residents an-all new shopping experience in the process.
The store will be situated on Melton Road and will officially open to the public on Tuesday 21st May, bringing an estimated 29 additional jobs to the local community.
To celebrate the store opening, Iceland will be giving away £1,000 worth of Iceland vouchers to the first 100 customers in the queue, plus a 1.2kg tub of Jellybeans to the first 200 customers through the checkouts.
With 4 Iceland stores already located in Leicester, the launch of a new The Food Warehouse store in the area will ensure that even more local residents have access to market-leading deals and big-brand products.
The Food Warehouse was introduced in 2014, with stores often double the size of traditional Iceland stores, offering a much larger range of goods, and bigger packs for even better value. The stores are designed to look like a warehouse, with wide shopping aisles and large spaces – offering the perfect environment for customers to buy their favourite products.
For one day only, The Food Warehouse in Leicester will have seven magnificent deals available to customers across the store. Anyone attending on opening day can make the most of the following one-off deals:

Three lucky winners will be drawn and given the chance to take part in a supermarket sweep-style challenge where they’ll each have the entire store to themselves for 90 seconds and will get to fill their trolley with whatever they’d like.
Additional prizes up for grabs include x2 NutriPro Blenders, x3 JML household essential hampers and x2 Tower 4 Litre Air Fryers.
Customers are also invited to guess how many sweets are in the jar for a chance to win a free Daewoo Air Fryer.
