Savers and Card Factory NOW OPEN!
On 20th June both Savers and the Card Factory opened their doors in Syston.
There was a good sized queue waiting for the doors to open.
Savers had a balloon entertainer outside keeping the families in the queue happy.

Taken just after the store opened, Saver’s is supporting Marie Curie this year.
There was a lovely atmosphere with lots of people taking advantage of the opening offer.
Your editor had a walk round the store and was impressed by the range and prices, they seem to be plugging a gap left by Wilko’s closing and it is nice to see a new business in the space left by Wilko’s in Syston, we hope they help to bring shoppers back into Syston and support our other independent retailers.
The Card Factory opened at the same time and in discussion with the Managing Director of Savers: Doug Winchester and the Manager of the Card Factory: Katie, they said this was normal as they work closely together when opening new stores like Syston and try to open at the same time.
