Hats at Birstall Gala
Hello from HATS. What a fabulous heatwave we are having, enjoy it but make sure you stay hydrated.
The sun shone down in full force at the Birstall Gala on June 21st, with a sprinkling of rain in the afternoon.
We had a fabulous time talking to lots of local people and some from further afield. As usual we took along our wonderful ‘Seaside cut out boards’. These are always very popular not just with the children but with teenagers, parents and grandparents. It was so lovely to see people having such a good time, including the local Reverend Amanda Digman who also had her photo taken.
We had free erasers to give to the children too.
In addition, we had a raffle to win family tickets for our next Panto, The Emperor’s New Clothes by PL McQueen with permission from Lazy Bee Scripts. Put the dates in your diary, December 4th, 5th and 6th in the evening, with an additional matinee on the 6th. The two winners have been chosen and informed. Well done to Julie Palmer and Ben Drake.
All money raised from the raffle, a huge £70, will be donated to Loros. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets.
