Hats Next Exciting Panto Is on the Way
HATS are giving it their all in rehearsals, to make sure we provide you with a fabulous Panto in the run up to Christmas. This year we will be performing “The Emperor’s New Clothes” by P L McQueen, with permissions from Lazy Bee Scripts.
I’m sure the adults will remember this popular story from their childhood, giggling as the Emperor strolls around in the most spectacular clothing ever!!!!!! But don’t spoil it for the younger ones by giving them too much information. Let them experience the wonder of this very funny show through their own eyes for the first time, the goodies, baddies, comedy and of course there has to be a bit of romance too. Oh yes there does!
Our Director, Jo Murray and co-director Lorraine Nash are working very hard to produce a fabulous show for you, whilst trying to control their laughter. Di, our wardrobe expert has already started to create the fabulous costumes you have come to expect every year. Together with Phil, our scenery wizard you will be in a for a treat.
So now it’s time for the cast to get cracking with their lines, develop their characters and treat you all to another hilarious, interactive, fun show. We’ve been told that’s in our job description, hmmmmmmm. Your job is to have fun, clap, boo, hiss, laugh out loud, and generally have a good time. And remember, it will only be a few weeks after the show that the magical ‘Santa Claus’ will be visiting you, so show him how well you can behave.
Our raffle this year will be in aid of LOROS, a very worthy local cause, please help to support them.
Dates for your diary:
December 4th, 5th and 6th in the evening with an additional matinee performance on the 6th.
Tickets are £7 for adults, £6 for concession. Family ticket £22.
