Edward Hands & Lewis Celebrate 10 Years in Syston
It’s hard to believe that Edward Hands and Lewis in Syston has now been part of the Syston community for ten years.
Based in the old NatWest building on Melton Road, the firm first opened its doors with a simple aim: to offer straightforward, friendly legal advice from people who genuinely know the area. Ten years on, that approach is still at the heart of everything the team does.
Edward Hands and Lewis (Syston) is a franchise of the Midlands firm Edward Hands and Lewis which has been trading since 1897. This means clients benefit from the experience and resources of a larger regional practice, while still enjoying the personal service of a local, family-run business. The team offers a wide range of services, including residential and commercial property (conveyancing), as well as private client services such as Wills & Probate.
What really makes the Syston office special, though, is its people. Every member of staff lives locally, so clients are always greeted by friendly faces who understand the community and care about it. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming – so much so that even local dogs have made it part of their daily routine to knock on the door for a quick hello, a chat with the reception team, and, if they’re lucky, a treat.
Over the years, the firm has grown along with the town, building long-standing relationships with individuals, families, and businesses. That growth has recently seen Edward Hands and Lewis expand into Melton Mowbray, allowing the team to support even more clients while keeping the same down-to-earth approach they’re known for.
The firm is also proud to support its chosen charity, The Bodie Hodges Foundation, helping to raise awareness and give back to causes that really matter to the local community. Supporting local initiatives and charities is something the team feels strongly about, and it reflects their commitment to being more than just a law firm.
As Edward Hands and Lewis celebrates its tenth anniversary in Syston, the team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported them over the years. From clients and colleagues to neighbours (both two-legged and four-legged), it’s been an incredible ten years — and they’re looking forward to many more.
