Alex’s Wish Supercars Event Roars Back for 2026 – Bigger, Better and More Spectacular than Ever
Leicestershire is set to feel the roar once again as the hugely popular Alex’s Wish Supercars charity event returns on Sunday 31st May, taking place in the stunning grounds of Ratcliffe College from 10am to 3pm.
Following an incredibly successful event in 2025 – which raised an impressive £28,000 for the Duchenne charity – organisers are promising an even bigger, better and more exciting day out for car enthusiasts, families and thrill-seekers alike.
The event is organised by Alex’s Wish, a Leicestershire-based charity founded in 2012 by Emma and Andy Hallam in honour of their son Alex. The charity is dedicated to helping eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare but aggressive muscle-wasting condition that affects around 1 in every 3,500 boys born. Duchenne causes progressive destruction of every muscle in the body due to a lack of a vital protein, and critically also affects the heart and lungs.
Funds raised through events like the Supercars Day directly support vital research into new treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
This year, the high-octane Supercars Event will see more than 100 jaw-dropping supercars and hypercars descend on Ratcliffe College, creating a full-throttle festival atmosphere that blends breathtaking motors with live music, delicious street food and unforgettable family entertainment. From iconic brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche and Lotus to a stunning mix of classics including Cobras and Alfa Romeos, visitors will be able to get up close to some of the world’s most impressive machines – loud, photo-ready and impossible to ignore – all while supporting a cause that is changing lives.
The event is designed to be a full-day experience, with festival vibes throughout. Live DJ sets and music from English House Mafia will soundtrack the day, while visitors enjoy the buzz of The Big Rev-Up and soak up the atmosphere with friends and family.
Alongside the supercars, guests can explore a vibrant food village offering everything from BBQ and wood-fired pizza to tacos and burgers, with bubble waffles, ice cream and coffee on hand for those with a sweet tooth. A fully licensed bar will be available throughout the day, including premium Poretti lager on draft and a champagne bar, with refreshing options also provided by Nutrii Ceylon Natural Tea.
Guests can also expect a packed programme of entertainment included within the ticket price, making the event as exciting for younger visitors as it is for car lovers. Interactive experiences such as the F1 pit stop challenge and multiplayer racing simulators will sit alongside aerial displays from the Dako Flying Angels acrobatic team, a traditional brass band, tractor trailer rides for children, a fire engine display and a dedicated kids’ crafts corner.
Tickets for the 2026 event are limited and expected to sell quickly, with early-bird pricing available for families, adults and under-17s, offering an affordable and memorable day out in one of Leicestershire’s most beautiful locations – and all for a good cause.
This year also sees the Alex’s Wish Supercars event supported by an incredible line-up of sponsors, highlighting the vital role partners play in making the day possible. The event is proudly led by headline sponsors Supercars of Birmingham, Bentley & Lamborghini Leicester, Brown & Brown Insurance, Cambridge Cyber Security, Collision Point, The Car Factory, FTP Profiles, Graypaul Nottingham – Ferrari dealership, Leicestershire County Cricket Club and Motorline Direct.
They are joined by main sponsors Aston Martin Nottingham, Edwards Wealth, Lumbers Jewellers, Sanctuary Serviced Accommodation and Versatile Events, along with super sponsors The Prince Group Construction, Whitehouse Machine Tools and Nutrii Ceylon Natural Tea. Their combined support helps ensure the event continues to grow year after year while raising vital funds and awareness for Alex’s Wish.
With its unique blend of world-class cars, live entertainment, great food and family-friendly fun – and with £28,000 raised last year alone – the Alex’s Wish Supercars event has quickly become one of Leicestershire’s most exciting annual events. The 2026 edition promises to be the biggest and most memorable yet, delivering an unforgettable day out for all who attend while helping to drive progress towards a future without Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
