Leicestershire National Garden Scheme Open Gardens May 2026

On Sunday 3rd May, 11am to 4pm, Tresillian House in Melton Mowbray LE13 0BQ opens its tranquil garden. Features include a range of specimen trees, a natural pond and bog garden and koi carp pond. Working vegetable garden, Heated and cold greenhouses. Small art exhibitions by local artists. In addition to the refreshments, there will also be Ploughman’s lunches and cream teas.
Burrough Hall, Melton Mowbray LE14 2QZ opens on Sunday 10th, 2pm to 5pm. This garden surrounds the Hall, a hunting lodge, with mature trees and shrubs and extensive views across Leicestershire. In addition, a small collection of vintage and classic cars will be on display.

On the 23rd and 25th May, 11am to 5pm, Westview in Great Glen, LE8 9EH, opens its lovely organically managed small garden packed full of plants and shrubs. A walled cottage garden with all year-round interest, which includes a courtyard, small pond, vegetable areas and recycled ornaments.
