The Colour Blast Dash – Leicester Sunday 29th April at Victoria Park – The Colour Blast Dash is a messy colour fun-run for all ages that takes place to support The Laura Centre, a specialist bereavement charity. Having begun in 2014, it offers a 2.5k ‘Rascal Run’ for those aged under 10 and a 5k run for those aged above. During the race, runners will be blasted with powder paint and at the end there is a group paint release finale. Also on offer is an events village with food and drink stalls etc. The ‘Rascal Run’ ticket costs £11 and includes race entry, a race number and a T shirt. The 5k ticket costs £21 and includes race entry, a race number, a T-shirt and a packet of powder paint. We also encourage participants to run as groups and so sell team tickets of four and more. The event begins at 9am, with the ‘Rascal Run’ taking place first, followed by the 5k run, and ends at 12.30pm.
