Tributes to HRH The Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Syston showed its gratitude to His Royal Highness The Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh and support to The Queen and the Royal family with the following tributes.
A wreath was laid at the memorial on Saturday 17th April, the day of the Prince’s funeral. Books of condolence have also been opened on line and in the Chapel at Barkby Rd Cemetery.
Syston Knitting Banxy placed a tribute on Upper Church Street. A beautiful plaque to commemorate his life.
There will be lots of residents who have completed their Duke of Edinburgh awards and may have had the pleasure of receiving their gold award from the Duke himself.
