Local Company Celebrates Four Years of ‘Outstanding’ Care
Local home care provider, Home Instead Charnwood, is celebrating its fourth year of providing high-quality care services to seniors across North Leicestershire.
Launched in 2017 by owner, Charlotte Johnson, the company brought Home Instead’s signature relationship-led home care to Charnwood, Loughborough, Coalville and the surrounding areas.
One year after launching, the company was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), achieving the highest possible rating for its home care services.
Now leading a team of 62, who care for 87 clients across the area, Charlotte’s business has become a real pillar of the community.
The company celebrated its fourth birthday in style, hosting a small COVID-safe party for staff at the office. The company has grown so much that it is relocating next month, and so this party will be the last time the team all gather at the office.
Charlotte commented: “I launched my business after a long career in the manufacturing, design and retail industry. I wanted a new challenge where I could apply my skill set and really make a difference to people’s lives. I’m proud to say that the care we provide really does make a difference to the lives of older people – we treat them with the time and respect they deserve, keeping them safe and cared for in the comfort of their own homes. I’m also so proud of my amazing team, who I couldn’t have done this without. Our dedicated caregivers provide CQC outstanding care and are supported by our strong office team who support us in delivering quality care.”
