Club at Magnificent Best for Open Day

Conditions for the Bowls Weekend Open Day at the end of May could not have been more perfect. The green was at its magnificent best and the sun shone to welcome all who wished to give bowls a try. A fair number were in attendance, including families with young children. The club is very lucky to have a full set of small bowls especially for children. The afternoon was an enjoyable, light hearted occasion with refreshments available to round things off.
Club Chair Carolyn Foster said, ‘Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and I really appreciate the efforts of club members who have helped show the club and our sport in its best light.
