Honour for Syston Bowlers

In a short, Covid-delayed presentation ceremony held on 8th June, Syston Bowling Club paid homage to two of their most respected Members.

Dave Fox, pictured above with Pete Murray, is the longest serving Member of the Club, having joined as long ago as 1977.

Val Foreman, pictured right with Pete Murray, is the current Administrative Director (Company Secretary) of the Club. Her award is in recognition of the way in which she has worked tirelessly for the Club and its Members, over many years and in several capacities.
In making the presentations, Club Chairman and President, Pete Murray, thanked them both for their loyalty to and support for the Club over the years, holding them both up as role models for the next generation of Members to follow.
