Ales and Bales 2021
The Syston Cricket Club beer festival had 14 different beers and two real cinders, 700 pints in total on offer across the bank holiday weekend 28th and 29th August.
The weather was great and so was the turnout.
The event was organised by Andy Woolston and was the third instalment of the event.
Andy along with his friend Dave Robinson, pictured above, manned the bar both days. There was entertainment in the evenings from DJ Neil Donoghue and Syston Brass Band.
The cricket was good too with Syston Beating Rothley on the Saturday and then Andy managed a hat trick ball, bowling on the Sunday morning in pub cricket.
Ann Thurman brought along an amazing range of home produced food to keep everyone happy on both days.
All the money raised goes to the club.
Andy would like to thank all the businesses and people who sponsored a barrel and helped make it another super weekend.
