U3A Open day
The Syston U3A held an open day at The Grosvenor Snooker club in their newly opened large event room which includes its own bar. It was a very bright and sunny morning, so the bifold doors were wide open to give some ventilation. The Ukulele band and singers were under a gazebo outside and
there were many people visiting to see all the different groups on offer and many were filling their sheets quickly.
If you are over 55 then you are edible to join the U3A (university of the 3rd Age) it brings people together and enjoy activities in small groups.
Their motto is live, laugh, learn.
