The Jubilee Medical Practice

To all our patients
We are aware there is a lot of negative press out there about GP practices, much of which is untrue or does not apply to The Jubilee Medical Practice. We wish to make it clear that we have never closed our doors at any point during the Covid pandemic. For a short time the government forced us to triage patients on the telephone first, but we have never once shied away from seeing our own patients face to face, and at the height of the pandemic we actually went above and beyond in order to see our Covid patients at the surgery.
As soon as the government allowed us to move away from telephone triage the practice immediately opened up patient bookable face to face appointments. We passionately believe in the value of face to face appointments, and whilst we will look to provide telephone and online appointments to those who want them, we will always retain face to face consults at the core of our service.
The practice is working harder than ever to meet the needs of our patients. In recent years our patient list has increased by over 2,500 whilst at the same time three partners have retired. Despite the national shortage of GPs we have successfully recruited two excellent salaried GPs in Dr Rana and Dr Allen. We are also supported by a highly skilled team of allied healthcare professionals including a Physician Associate, Nurse Practitioner and a dynamic pharmacy team led by two Clinical Pharmacists. If you would like to know more about the skillset of these clinicians please ask reception or visit our website.
Despite this, the demands on the surgery continue to grow and we are managing unprecedented demand on a daily basis. We will continue to work hard to recruit more clinicians and to make our services ever more efficient, such as investing in a new state of the art phone system.
Finally, the GP Partners would like to publicly acknowledge our wonderful practice team for the dedication to patient care they have shown throughout the pandemic. Our whole team will continue to work incredibly hard to care for all of our patients; all they ask in return is to be treated with kindness and respect. We welcome constructive feedback and would ask that you contact the surgery, rather than leave anonymous online reviews, so that we may address your concerns and/or suggestions directly.
Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.
