Grants are available to businesses that have a business rates account as of Thursday 30th December 2021. Full eligibility criteria and how to apply can be found on the Council’s website at www.charnwood.gov.uk/omicron_grant
Cllr Shona Rattray, the Council’s lead member for business support said: “We understand how important these grants are for eligible businesses and are distributing funding as quickly and securely as possible.
“It’s great so many businesses have already applied and with less than two weeks left until applications close, we’re urging eligible businesses to get their applications in as soon as they can to ensure they don’t miss out.”
More than £550,000 has already been awarded to eligible businesses which applied for the scheme.
