Brooksby Gardening Club

What a summer we have had – not a good one for the gardener, it has been difficult to keep our precious plants alive. Never mind the plants wilting I have too with all the heat, I guess we will have to get used to it in the future and change our thoughts on what to plant.
Over the summer we have had two great days out, the first was Trentham Gardens looking slightly sad due to the weather but the Prairie Garden proved interesting with pathways leading to areas for picnics and plenty of places for children to hide and Brodsworth where the bedding was particularly good.
Now we are looking forward to getting back to club nights, perhaps you would like to join us, we are very friendly, some of us are experts and some real novices. We meet at 7.30pm at the Village Hall, visitors are welcome, entrance £5.
