Canine Partners

My name is Katie Roche and I work for Canine Partners, a local charity that trains puppies to become assistance dogs for individuals with physical disabilities.
We are currently looking for volunteers to become ‘Puppy Parents’ to help us raise and train our puppies from eight weeks of age, until they are ready to go into their advanced training!
A ‘Puppy Parent’ is given frequent training to best help them train and care for our puppies, have all the puppies food and vet bills paid for and get lots of opportunities for socialising within our charity.
Unfortunately post-pandemic we have struggled to recruit volunteers and the number of assistance dogs we have been able to provide has dropped dramatically.
The dogs local to your area, are Robyn and Reggie! You can spot them wearing their purple harnesses and Canine Partner Bandannas.
If you think you can help us train more assistance dogs and positively impact more lives, then please contact me via my email: katier@caninepartners.org.uk
Thank you.
