Declan Spencer
A final message from his mum Alex.
The photograph above is the last one taken of him six days before he died.
He died peacefully from cardiac arrest while on a drive with me on the 26th of August.
Alex said that she knows of rumours going around and wanted to share the facts. His body had fought as long as it could. We were having a lovely chat reflecting on how lucky we were to have each other and such a bond. I looked up at him as I drove around the roundabout by Asda and could see he wasn’t conscious. He had gone. My baby, my soul mate my best friend. My life will never be the same but I am determined to use his beloved van to help others and keep his legacy alive and make him proud of me.
Our thoughts are with Alex and her family and we wish her all the best going forward.
