Help Us to STOP Fly Tipping by Thinking About What Happens to Your Waste
It is important to make sure your waste is disposed of safely and legally. You can be prosecuted if someone collects your waste, and it is later found fly tipped.
Check waste collectors are registered by visiting the environment agency website or call 0370 850 6506.
Most waste collectors operate legally but a minority do not. Help us to keep your community clean by:
? Checking the person you give your waste to is registered by contacting the Environment Agency on the details above
? Asking for waste transfer notes (receipts) if giving your waste to someone you pay to take it away
? Use our bulky waste service (charges apply) – visit https://www.charnwood.gov.uk/bulkywaste
? Visit your local household recycling centre (tip) – visit https://www.charnwood.gov.uk/tips for location of Charnwood-based tips and their opening days/times.
