Air Ambulance Flying Heroes Fundraiser
Tina wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Air Ambulance Flying Heroes fundraiser.
She does appreciate the efforts of everyone who took part from the meetings at the Glenfield with Emily and Mark Lovett, to the help from Julie and the Air Ambulance team, the Secret Garden for allowing us to use their amazing grounds. A huge thank you to Aartis Dance Academy, shown below, for performing.
Tina had a great day and although it stressed her out massively the results are the best, so, in all they have raised £3,142.
That is an amazing amount for the Air Ambulance and well over the cost of a mission so thank you to everyone.
The stress of getting all the prizes, to sorting stuff out for the event has paid off, there’s been a lot of amazing feedback from people who attended.
They said it was a great day with lovely weather.
Tina would like to say a big thank you to her amazing biker family for making a spectacular entrance to the hospital, you made her and the charity proud.
Next step will be going up to the base to do the cheque presentation with the helicopters, can’t wait, and hopefully to meet the Critical Care Paramedic and Doctor who came out to me and saved my arm, as if it had been in that dislocated position for much longer, I might have lost blood flow and lost my right arm.
The Air Ambulance do an amazing job, please keep supporting them.
Thank you on behalf of The Air Ambulance Service
