Ratcliffe Chorale Concert
On Friday 3rd July at 7.30pm, the church will be filled with the sound The Ratcliffe Chorale singing a locally composed Requiem Mass, in addition to songs from musicals and shows. Light summer refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle and a retiring collection in aid of the Church Improvement funds.
Open Church
During June and July our church, St Peter and St Paul’s, will be open on a Saturday morning. Found off the High Street in Syston, nestled between the Streets of Lower Church Street and Upper Church Street, is this spectacular Grade 1 listed building. Come along between the times of 10am and 12 noon on a Saturday in June and July, to find some peace and quiet, have a chat with one of our church congregation, pray or just peruse and explore this special building. We look forward to welcoming you.
Evensong led by St Peter and St Paul’s Academy
Year 2 have been taking part in the DioSing project led by the music staff from Leicester Cathedral. They have been learning all about musical notes, developing their singing skills and building their confidence. We are looking forward to welcoming them into church as they lead a service of Evensong on Tuesday 30th June at 2pm.
Oasis Contemplative Prayer Group
Need a bit of time and space to take a breath? Join us for 30 mins of quiet prayer and reflection. Every second Tuesday at 7.30pm in church. Next meeting Tuesday 9th June.
