Twyford Village Hall – near Melton Mowbray
The Twyford Guild of Artists will be staging their annual exhibition on the weekend 6th & 7th October and will be exhibiting their wide variety of mediums from stitched textiles and silk paintings to silver jewellery, batiks on silk and watercolours.  The 6 artists exhibiting this year are:
Jean Baker, Paula Chapman, Ken Forrest,
Lesley Harris, Frances Lowe and Gay Mayes
As in previous years there will be an Open Section showing a variety of artwork that has been produced in the village together with a dedicated area that will be showcasing beautiful items from Twyford’s Dotty Gallery. There will be a large range of cards, prints and silk necklaces for sale.
Due to how popular the “glass table” proved last year, we will again be welcoming SmARTsy on the Saturday who will show you how to make your own piece of glass art, which can be taken away and fired ready for you to collect at a later date.
The exhibition will be open from noon to 5pm on both days.
There will be refreshments available and admission is free.
