Syston Summer Fayre

Saturday 31st August Central Park
The Syston Summer Fayre is starting to take shape and we are creating a very different style of event. There will be crafting workshops, recycling and upcycling, as well as space available to hire for local charities, social groups, non-profit making groups and societies to raise funds. Commercial businesses are also welcome. Plus live local bands, dance competition, a beer tent and picnic area.
To help create this event we are now looking for local bands/musicians to come and showcase their talents on our stage. All musical styles and sizes welcome. Just contact us via our email below to come and help create a wonderful family event. Also any local performers or drama groups who would like to showcase their talents.
Our dance competition is now open to enter. The competition is open to all age groups and can be solo, duet, trios and small groups. We will arrange into age groups with winners in each category. The overall winner will receive the Hendry Cup, a trophy in recognition of Bob and Meg Hendry.
We are also now taking bookings for stalls, please contact us via our email below to receive an official booking form.
This will be an all day event and more details of times etc will be given in a future article.
