Learning Languages this Summer

Hola! ¿Hablas español? Do you go on holiday to Spain or to Spanish-speaking countries and wish you could carry out the basics such as ordering food and drinks or checking into your hotel? Apparently, learning a new language features among our top three New Year’s resolutions in the UK, below diet and exercise of course! The British regularly give themselves a hard time over their ability to learn languages, I know I’ve seen it first-hand. However, there’s really no need to, I’ve been teaching languages for over twenty years to both adults and school children and I genuinely believe that anyone can learn a new language, especially Spanish!

Spanish Group Classes
Normally, my group classes take place in my home in Queniborough. However, since the start of the pandemic I’ve made these remote by moving them onto Zoom and I have kept my groups small (maximum of 4) in order to be able to keep the classes interactive and practical. However, as government restrictions begin to ease over the next few months, I will gradually be re-starting classes in my garden, in a socially distanced manner and weather permitting!

Secondary School Tutoring
As a native speaker of Spanish and a former head of Spanish at different secondary schools, I would like to offer your son or daughter either one-to-one Spanish lessons or small group classes, especially for pupils who feel that they would like to catch up on their studies of Spanish after all these months of home-schooling.

Get In Touch
If any of the above sounds appealing, then please get in touch and I will try to set up a new Spanish group class for a day and time that suits.
