The Rotary Club of The Wreake Valley

In common with many other organisations Wreake Valley Rotary Club has had to dispense with it’s normal face to face meetings.

However, Rotarians have not been idle! The attached photo shows not an episode of ‘Celebrity Squares’ (familiar to TV viewers of a certain age) but members attending one of our fortnightly virtual ‘Zoom’ meetings.

At this particular meeting our speaker was Grace Dearson from the National Citizen Scheme, Leicester branch. The scheme is aimed at Year Eleven school pupils. It aims to give them life skills, independence and self belief. You can find out more at www.leics-ebc.org.uk.

We have adapted to current circumstances and are still in business. So, if you know of an individual or an organisation locally who we may be able to assist in some way please go to the ‘Contact Us’ link at www.wreakevalleyrotary.org.uk and send us an email.

Unfortunately, our popular Watermead Challenge charity run in July has been cancelled although it will be back, bigger and even better, in 2021.
