Tales from a Plague Village – Now on Sale!

A collection of accounts by people in Queniborough revealing how the biggest pandemic in a century affected their daily lives.
There are tales of sadness, frustration, annoyance, pain, new friendships and occasional joy. It is at once the story of a village and a microcosm of the story of the nation and the world during Covid-19. Some tales are scarcely believable; others will make you laugh out loud. If you don’t appear in the book, it is almost certain a friend, neighbour or even a dog you know will.
This will be the definitive history of Queniborough during Covid-19. Order early to avoid disappointment as there are only limited copies available.
All profits go to charitable village causes, arranged by the Queniborough 5th November Committee.
You can get your copy online by using the link below or you can find it in all shops and pubs in Queniborough. Copies are also available at High Barn Kennels, High Class Ironing behind the petrol station and the New World Café in Syston opposite Tesco.
