Local Writer Releases First Novel
Hello, my name is Jamie Liquorish. Almost ten years ago, I had an idea for a novel. The first few drafts I wasn’t happy with, but then I started with the third draft, and all of a sudden, it felt right. My inspiration came from the works of J.R.R. Tolkien: his use of characters, landscape, and adventure inspired me to create a thrilling mystery of an ancient lost prophecy set deep within the Scottish Highlands, combining fantasy with the real world. It’s a story full of love, courage, personal struggles, and heroic acts of great deeds, going above and beyond to save all that we hold dearest in our lives. What I created was more than anything I could have ever wished for.
