Instructor – World Master James Freer 7th Dan – recently made history as he had a Black Belt Grading held at his Tae Kwon-do Club in Syston at St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s School, Church Street.
Normally all students have to travel to Bristol for their Black Belt gradings held at the main academy by the TAGB (Tae Kwon-do Asso. of Great Britain) – but due to Covid and lockdowns, Black Belt gradings were permitted elsewhere.
Master Freer had a 100% pass rate – with students passing their 1st Dan Black Belts right through to 5th Dan level!!
Those students that passed were –
JUNIOR STAR GRADES –
1st STAR – Mikolaj Debinski, Rayan Rajput, Shivam Patel
2nd STAR – Bethany Allen, Kais Pirbhai, Khalia Pirbhai, Daniyal Pirbhai
1st DANS – Dan Birtwisle, Charlie Birtwisle
2nd DANS – Peter Allen,  Parita Bharadia, Conrad Hextall
3rd DAN – Jasmine Freer
4th DAN – Ben Mapletoft
5th DAN – Jane Snape
Master Freer would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of his students that passed such important grades – they have all worked extremely hard towards achieving their goals and have made their Instructor and their club very, very proud! Well done all!!!

Pictured above is World Master James Freer – awarding student Jane Snape with a special trophy for doing so well on her 5th Dan Grade – in memory of Graham Jennings one of Master Freer’s students who sadly passed away not long ago – but will never be forgotten.
