Syston Hornets Girls Under 17 Football Team
Syston Hornets girls under 17 football team have come runners up in the Leicestershire league for under 18s.
The League covers Leicestershire and Rutland and as far South as Rugby.
They only lost two matches all season.
Further, their coach Dave Green has won the Syston Town Football Club person of the year award for his contribution to the club as a whole including setting up an under 11 girls team as well as Managing and Coaching the under 17s.
Due to Covid, the season has had many interruptions and the presentations were only made on Sunday 18th July.
