Syston and District Social Club
Like all other clubs and pubs, the Syston and District Club was closed due to the pandemic but there has been a lot of work going on behind those closed doors.
The lounge has been redecorated and looks bright and inviting, as can be seen in the picture above.
They have also been working on the walled garden, possibly the best kept secret in Syston. This sun trap is lovely to enjoy a cool beer or tipple of your choice.
The garden furniture has been colourfully painted which compliments the raised beds that have been filled with cottage wildlife friendly plants. There is also a bay tree planted in memory of John Bates.
The area is used for outdoor entertainment on one of two raised paved areas, allowing for good socially distanced seating. See pictures below.
To enhance the new look they are offering food Friday to Sunday evening 6pm to 10pm, a Lunchtime service running between 12noon and 3.00pm on Saturday and on Sunday they have Hot Roast Cobs available between 2.00pm and 4.30pm.
To encourage new members the club is running an offer on Membership reducing it from £8.50 to £5. A warm welcome awaits you.
