QT Theatre Group
I promised you that I would keep you posted about our next production as soon as I could – so here we go!!!
The group is now in full rehearsal for our next play, “Lockdown in Little Grimley” by David Tristram, and things are going really well. The picture below shows the cast in rehearsal.
As you can probably gather from the title, it is very topical but still respectful of the situation that we have all been through.
Some elements will really ring a bell with many people, Did you make banana cake? Go on, confess!
We are certainly enjoying rehearsals; I think we spend more time laughing than performing, to be honest!
It is a very funny play and will appeal to all audiences but we suggest minimum age of about 12.
This production is being directed by me, with a cast of four – Jules plays Bernard, Kat plays Margaret, Ron plays Gordon and Gillian plays Joyce, shown in the picture left.
I hope you have already put the dates in your diary – Tuesday 24th May to Friday 27th May.
As usual, the play will start at 7.30pm and we shall be serving refreshments and holding a raffle every evening.
