“Yes……. We did it”!!!
Thurmaston Ladies beat the Gents for the first time in eight years 56 – 49, the same day that the Lionesses won the European Championship. And the clubs success story doesn’t end there! Our Monday Development Team won 12 out of 14 games to finish second in the North West Triples League and our Wednesday Team won the 2nd Division Championship Trophy in the Wymeswold Mixed League achieving a well-deserved promotion to Division One for the 2023 season.
Not only have our regular bowlers excelled this year, the 12 new bowlers who joined us this year are progressing so well some of them are hoping to play in the Development league next year.
What a year to be President! So proud of you all. Well done Thurmaston Bowls Club!!!
