Change of Minister for the Methodist Church
In July, the church was full for the farewell service for the Rev Daniel Yovan who had been with us for the past five years. Daniel came here as a trainee Minister and was ordained in July 2021. His ministry here in Syston was a blessing to all who knew him, especially his work with the bereaved and sick. We wish him and his family Gods blessing in his new appointment in St. Albans.
In September we welcome our new Minister the Rev Paula Hunt. Paula has worked in our Trinity Circuit since 2016 having responsibilities for Birstall and Rothley churches as well as taking on the Superintendent work of the Circuit. We are delighted she is joining us at Syston and look forward to working with her.
