Planning Application Submitted for the Now Closed Wilko’s

There is a lot of speculation about what is happening to the now closed Wilko store. According to Charnwood Planning signage has been applied for on behalf of Iceland. The signs are for The Food Warehouse which is owned by Iceland. Plus they are keeping the Oxfam shop which faces Melton Road, they are then creating two more shop units facing Melton Road, which is why there is a To Let sign on the building.
