Dear Editor,
Having received our council tax bill for 2024/25.
Why are Syston Town Council having the same Council Tax as Charnwood Council?
Whenever you say anything about what people want in Syston, the answer is always the same; go to Charnwood Council; or the Council says that they have to go to Charnwood Council for an answer.
Charnwood Council have offices in Loughborough with staff to help, Syston Council have an office in the community centre but no help from staff.
Charnwood Council have people on hand at the offices to listen and help you out. The biggest problem is that Syston Council have no authority in what happens to Syston, as they keep telling us.
I feel the tax for Syston should be a lot lower than Charnwood Councils Tax.
