Beardsley’s Tea Room Update

When I last wrote in the Stn, we were approaching the festive period. As I write this, following a lovely hot week in May that seems like a lifetime ago, and certainly lots have changed for us in that time.
I’ve been making more and more appearances as I return from maternity leave, and we’ve recently welcomed a new addition to the team – Leanne.
Whilst known to some of our customers through her wealth of hospitality experience to date, or her family connections in the village, she’s made many positive first impressions and brings with her lots of ideas for new items and drinks options (so watch this space).
We’re currently busy working towards getting the garden in bloom and have just launched our summer menu, which continues to offer changing monthly specials giving variety and the chance to try something new.
Our most popular morning deal by far has been our scone and hot drink offer, and so we are extending this into June. Join us between 10am to 11am and enjoy a warm scone, fruit or cheese with any tea/coffee for just £4.25.
As always, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their continued custom and support, with the cost of living ever rising we’re so grateful when you choose us for your lunch/coffee dates and will work hard to ensure that this remains the case – thank you.
Also, a big personal thank you from me to the team for holding the fort during my absence, it wasn’t without its bumps in the road and everyone rose to the challenge and really pulled together. I’m glad to be back on site more, have loved catching up with so many of you and look forward to what the rest of this year has to bring!
