It’s been so lovely to see so many of you in the tearoom following our update article last month.
It seems a lot of you had still thought that we were closed on Mondays and were pleased to learn that this was no longer the case, we’re back to being open Monday through to Saturday 10am-4pm.
Our morning deal this month will be a free tea/coffee with any cake purchase before 11am, and we’re keeping everything crossed that we might see some sunshine allowing you to enjoy our outside seating area as well as inside.
July also brings of course new specials, as well as a new afternoon tea menu. Our afternoon teas are available Tuesday to Saturday and are £20pp including unlimited pots of tea and/or coffee. We’ve hosted groups of between two to 30 for afternoon tea and can seat up to 18 people together in one room should you be looking for a venue for an intimate celebration (n.b. advance booking is required for all afternoon teas).
On a slightly separate note, you may or may not have heard that the Wheel Inn in Rearsby is back open as a pub and Indian restaurant under new management. We’ve visited for a team outing and share the same positive feedback as so many – Lovely food with friendly and attentive service. The new owners have also kindly agreed to let our customers continue to use their car park on weekdays for which we are very grateful as our car park can often be full.
