Beardsley’s Tea Room Update
Whilst not quite the sunny summer we’d been hoping for this year we welcomed the milder days and loved having a full garden once again! It seems now however like a distant memory as we’re fully embracing all things autumnal. It’s such a lovely time of year to be able to work with an abundance of seasonal homegrown produce and helps to get the creative juices well and truly flowing as to what can be cooked up with them. We’ve switched back to our winter menu as of October, welcoming the return of our Aga pressed toasties and homemade soup. Rest assured – our quiche is remaining a fixture as well as I daren’t face the wrath of so many as last year when we removed it for the winter months.
We’ve also tweaked our opening hours a little for the ‘winter’, increasing our breakfast service on Fridays and Saturdays by opening an hour earlier at 9am.
Currently, we’re in the middle of our Autumn afternoon tea offering which will be followed by our Festive menu throughout November and December.
Both menus can be found on our website at https://www.beardsleystearoom.co.uk, and as always, we will be extending our hours to offer evening afternoon tea bookings the week before Christmas.
The first date released is Wednesday the 18th of December, give us a call for more info and to make your reservation. With Christmas falling mid week this year, we’ve decided to open Sunday 22nd 9.30am to 1.30pm for a festive brunch, after which we will be closed until the New Year.
We will be releasing the festive brunch menu Mid October for essential pre-booking.
Gosh, I feel like there’s been quite a lot to fill you in on this month, we hope to welcome you soon for cosy catch ups and warming treats.
