Model Railway Show and Open Weekend

Saturday 18th January and Sunday 19th January  2025.
Venue: Birstall Social Club, 16-18 Wanlip Lane, Birstall LE4 4JS 10am to 4.30pm (4pm Sunday)
A combined model railway exhibition and open day organised by Syston  Model Railway Society. 
You can view 12 top quality layouts in various gauges, two, of which, have appeared in National Model Railway magazines. There is also an expert demo on card modelling.
You can visit our New enlarged club rooms and see progress on our 26 foot OO gauge Club layout called ‘Grimley Heath’. 
Three club layouts will be on view including Horse Cove (N) and Vale of Tranmer (OO.) 
“Come and have a look, we are looking for new members to join our friendly and successful Club and take advantage of our new larger premises. There is something for all the family including a bar” said Chairman, Mike Collins.   
Trade support including new and second-hand model railways,  books, and accessories.
Admission Adults  £5, Families £10  Accompanied Children (under 16) FREE; Unaccompanied £4 each.
Arriva Midlands 127 bus: Leicester/ Loughborough. Parking adjacent in Sibson Road and Wanlip Road.
