Paul Hope, pictured above in the clinic, owner of Optimal Hearing is opening a state of the art Hearing clinic here in Syston.
Paul said: ‘it’s the ideal site for my new clinic. I’m already reconnecting with people I haven’t seen for years, and bumped into some I used to play rugby with, I feel I’ve returned to the community. I’m bringing everything I’ve learned throughout my career and I wanted to come back to my roots, to give back to the community I grew up in.’
He continued by saying: ‘My new clinic will be technologically more advanced than any clinic I’ve ever seen or worked in, I’m investing in additional technologies, testing and programming capabilities to give me the ability to take things to the next level, and have the clinic capability to meet all customer needs. The reason why it’s called ‘Optimal Hearing’ is because when someone leaves I want them to literally have optimal hearing, to be confident that they are hearing as well as they possibly can do.
Paul’s staff have hospitality and dental backgrounds, they’re creating something special. They have ample parking, it’s wheelchair accessible, Paul designed everything to be on one floor, and a wheelchair can access the front desk and service lab area.
Paul is incredibly proud of the work the team and he has done on the clinic, he has built their own soundproof booths, large enough to fit a wheelchair in.
Anyone can walk in without an appointment to get their hearing aid thoroughly serviced. This service doesn’t exist elsewhere to his knowledge. If you have a hearing aid issue, you don’t need to sit in silence, you can come in and they will be the trusted hub for the Syston community.
Paul said he was not willing to compromise on choice or technology for the customer, and their leading partner at Widex know and support this approach. Paul finished by saying that his entire family have been so supportive, it’s a big financial risk but he believes in this clinic and the community, and he knows he’ll have done the right thing when he sees his grandma become a customer, who has been suffering from health issues recently, it will all have been worth it!
