MADS Group Update

Happy Easter!
We hope you all had a lovely Easter.
We have once again been very busy at the group and thinking of things to keep everyone active.
For Easter we got all the members making Easter crafts and there was some lovely little creations. We took a photo of a select few which we have included below.
We have also kept our members busy with Bingo, Quizzes and sessions where we just sit and chat and now that the weather is ever so slowly improving, it gives us all that much needed boost. We can’t wait till we can have a picnic on the park with our members and soak up some much needed Vitamin D from the sun.
A Note for New Members
Now, if you’re ever wondering how we can help you with your mental health, don’t worry about the fact that we aren’t healthcare professionals. We can signpost you to much needed services like Social Prescribers, Counselling Services and other services that can help you improve your mental health. Just accepting you need the help is that first important step to reach better mental health. Taking that step to come to our group is a very big first step and the staff and members can help you feel comfortable in a space that is made as safe as It can be.
Everything you tell us is 100% confidential and safe. The only time we would ever break that is if we believe you are in danger to yourself or someone else. We keep everyone as safe as we possibly can.
